Sterile transfer sets with a double valve for filling CareVis Infusion pumps in a closed-system
Two options available
Description
- Creates a closed-system for transferring of medication solutions from an IV-bag into CareVis infusions pump using a single-use syringe
- Eliminates having to screw and unscrew the syringe several times during the entire filling process.
- No need to operate clamps and stopcocks for venting and filling.
- Tubing lengths optimised for ease of handling and low residual volumes.
- Can be used with and without CareVis Handfiller*.
- Optional with needle-free port for mixing the drug into the solution bag:
Avoids multiple spiking of the bag during the mixing and filling process.
Specification
- Non-vented spike
- Two one-way valves (anti-syphon): will not open under gravity
- 35 cm PVC transfer tubing from spike to double valve connector
- 10 cm PVC extension tubing with rotating male luer lock collar; removable*
- 3 ml residual volume
- DEHP and latex free
- Sterile ETO, single-use
* Always use the 10 cm extension when using the Handfiller to place the CareVis infusion pump safely on the desk.
